Abstract

Abstract

The phenomenon of celebrity hijrah in the digital era has been widely examined from the perspectives of digital da'wah and religious commodification. However, limited studies have integrated humanitarian-based da'wah with religious transformation and social participation within a unified analytical framework. This study aims to analyze the implementation of humanitarian-based da'wah within the Musawarah Community (Muda Sakinah Mawaddah Warahmah) and its impact on members’ religious transformation and social participation. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observation and digital documentation derived from the community’s social media content and activity reports. The analysis was guided by Everett M. Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovation theory. The findings reveal that humanitarian-based da'wah is manifested through the integration of religious study sessions, social action programs, and digital mobilization, strengthened by the role of public figures as opinion leaders. Members’ religious transformation extends beyond symbolic change, reflected in shifts in value orientation and increased social engagement. This study contributes to the development of a transformative and humanistic da'wah model relevant to contemporary urban communities.
