Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sifat fisik dan mekanik Gear Comp Kick KZL guna meningkatkan kualitas produk dan mengurangi cacat produksi. Gear ini berfungsi dalam sistem starter sepeda motor dan memerlukan kekerasan tinggi, ketahanan aus, serta presisi dimensi. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup observasi, analisis data teknis, dan kajian literatur. Hasil menunjukkan variasi material dan inkonsistensi dalam proses heat treatment mempengaruhi kekerasan dan ketangguhan gear. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan optimalisasi parameter proses carburizing, peningkatan kualitas electroplating, dan penerapan sistem kontrol kualitas digital untuk mendeteksi deviasi proses.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the physical and mechanical properties of the Gear Comp Kick KZL to enhance product quality and reduce production defects. This gear plays a crucial role in the motorcycle starter system and requires high hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional precision. The methodology includes observation, technical data analysis, and literature review. The results show that variations in material selection and inconsistencies in the heat treatment process affect the hardness and toughness of the gear. The study recommends optimizing carburizing parameters, improving electroplating quality, and implementing a digital quality control system to detect process deviations.
