Analisis Proses Kerja Mesin Pada Industri Pabrik Es Balok

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the working processes of machines in the block ice manufacturing industry, specifically the refrigeration system and ice formation mechanism. The primary focus is on the compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator as core components of the refrigeration system. The methods used include direct field observation, documentation, and interviews. The analysis shows that machine efficiency is significantly influenced by the condition of the compressor, the stability of the refrigerant pressure, and the effectiveness of heat transfer in the condenser and evaporator. Furthermore, it was found that regular maintenance and proper temperature control play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity and quality of block ice production. This study provides a technical overview that can be used as a reference for improving the performance of refrigeration systems in similar industries.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara menyeluruh proses kerja mesin dalam industri pabrik es balok, khususnya pada sistem pendinginan dan mekanisme pembentukan es. Fokus utama diarahkan pada mesin kompresor, kondensor, katup ekspansi, dan evaporator sebagai komponen inti dalam sistem refrigerasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi langsung di lapangan, dokumentasi, serta wawancara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi kerja mesin sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi kompresor, kestabilan tekanan refrigeran, serta efektivitas perpindahan panas pada kondensor dan evaporator. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa perawatan berkala dan pengontrolan suhu yang tepat memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga kontinuitas dan kualitas produksi es balok. Studi ini memberikan gambaran teknis yang dapat dijadikan acuan dalam peningkatan kinerja sistem pendingin pada industri serupa.
