Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (Program Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) is a national priority program aimed at improving students’ nutritional status through the provision of nutritious meals. The success of this program is determined not only by menu quality but also by the effectiveness of the food supply distribution system. This study aims to analyze the system and flow of food supply distribution, identify logistical constraints, and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of food distribution in the MBG Program in the Sarijadi area. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data was collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with the Distribution Leader of the Sarijadi MBG Kitchen and analysis of relevant operational documents. The results indicate that the MBG distribution system in the Sarijadi area has been implemented effectively and efficiently, supported by a structured distribution flow, relatively short delivery distances, and quality control involving nutritionists as well as hygiene and sanitation standards. However, several constraints remain, particularly delays during the portioning stage due to raw material readiness and limitations of transportation facilities that lack adequate ventilation systems. Overall, the MBG distribution system in the Sarijadi area meets the principles of timeliness, quality, and food safety, yet improvements in internal coordination and transportation facilities are still required to ensure optimal and sustainable program implementation.

Abstrak

Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) merupakan program prioritas nasional yang bertujuan meningkatkan status gizi peserta didik melalui penyediaan makanan bergizi secara rutin. Keberhasilan program ini tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kualitas menu, tetapi juga oleh efektivitas sistem distribusi pasokan bahan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sistem dan alur distribusi pasokan bahan pangan, mengidentifikasi kendala logistik, serta mengevaluasi efektivitas dan efisiensi distribusi makanan pada Program MBG di wilayah Sarijadi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur dengan Leader Distribusi Dapur MBG Sarijadi dan analisis dokumen operasional terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem distribusi MBG di wilayah Sarijadi telah berjalan cukup efektif dan efisien, didukung oleh alur distribusi yang terstruktur, jarak pengiriman yang relatif dekat, serta penerapan pengendalian mutu yang melibatkan ahli gizi dan standar hygiene serta sanitasi. Namun demikian, masih terdapat kendala, terutama keterlambatan pada tahap pemorsian akibat kesiapan bahan baku serta keterbatasan sarana transportasi yang belum dilengkapi dengan sistem ventilasi yang memadai. Secara keseluruhan, sistem distribusi MBG di wilayah Sarijadi telah memenuhi prinsip ketepatan waktu, kualitas, dan keamanan pangan, namun masih memerlukan peningkatan pada aspek koordinasi internal dan sarana transportasi agar pelaksanaan program dapat berjalan lebih optimal dan berkelanjutan.
