Korsase Bunga Lili pada Busana Pesta Malam

Abstract

Penciptaan karya ini di latarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan terhadap keindahan visual bunga lili casablanca yang memiliki karakter anggun, elegan, dan mewah. Karakteristik tersebut kemudian dijadikan sumber ide dalam perancangan busana pesta malam melalui penerapan teknik korsase sebagai elemen dekoratif utama. Teknik korsase dipilih karena mampu menghadirkan bentuk tiga dimensi yang memberikan kesan timbul, dramatis, dan menjadi pusat perhatian pada busana. Tujuan penciptaan karya ini adalah merancang, mewujudkan, dan menyelenggarakan fashion show busana pesta malam dengan penerapan korsase bunga lili. Metode penciptaan yang digunakan meliputi tahap eksplorasi, observasi, perancangan desain, eksperimen material, dan perwujudan karya. Sumber ide berasal dari bunga lili casablanca yang kemudian ditransformasikan ke dalam bentuk korsase dengan penekanan pada bentuk kelopak dan putik bunga. Karya diwujudkan dalam tiga tingkatan busana, yaitu ready to wear, ready to wear deluxe, dan haute couture. Material utama yang digunakan adalah kain satin, tille, organza dan wastra tenun bulu baron. Warna yang diterapkan terdiri atas merah marun, hitam, dan magenta yang mendukung karakter busana pesta malam. Hasil penciptaan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan korsase bunga lili mampu memperkuat nilai estetis, menghadirkan kesan glamor, elegan, dan eksklusif, serta menjadi identitas visual utama pada keseluruhan rancangan busana pesta malam.

Abstract

 This work was inspired by an interest in the visual beauty of the Casablanca lily, which is characterized by its graceful, elegant, and luxurious appearance. These characteristics were used as the main source of inspiration in designing evening gowns through the application of the corsage technique as the primary decorative element. The corsage technique was selected because it creates a three-dimensional effect that enhances the garment with a raised, dramatic appearance and serves as the focal point of the design. The objectives of this creation are to design, produce, and present an evening wear fashion show featuring Casablanca lily corsages. The creative process consisted of the stages of exploration, observation, design development, material experimentation, and realization of the final works. The source of inspiration was the Casablanca lily, which was transformed into corsage elements with emphasis on the flower’s petals and stamens. The collection consists of three categories of garments: ready-to-wear, ready-to-wear deluxe, and haute couture. The main materials used include satin, tulle, organza, and Baron feather woven fabric (wastra tenun bulu Baron). The color palette consists of maroon, black, and magenta to reinforce the luxurious character of evening wear. The results demonstrate that the application of Casablanca lily corsages enhances the aesthetic value of the garments, creating a glamorous, elegant, and exclusive impression while serving as the primary visual identity throughout the evening wear collection
